There is no host hotel for the symposium since no programs are hotel-based. Many hotels in a range of costs and amenities are in the Mid-Town area. The General Society Library and Harvard Club are a short walk from Grand Central Station and subway stops.
Symposium speakers and Committee volunteers are staying at the Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue, one block away at 15 West 45th Street. This hotel offers special per-night rates to a limited number of individual symposium attendees on the event dates: $189 plus taxes for a King Bed Room; $239 plus taxes for a Double Bed Room. These can be reserved, mentioning the "National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors", by calling 212-302-9088 or emailing the hotel general manager Ivan Bonilla. Please keep in mind that this is a basic business and tourist hotel; other higher-rated hotels, at double or triple the daily cost at this busy time of year in New York City, also are close by including The Sofiteldirectly across the street from the symposium venue.
