There is no host hotel for the symposium since no programs are hotel-based. Many hotels in a range of costs and amenities are in the Mid-Town area. The General Society Library and the Harvard Club are a short walk from Grand Central Station and subway stops. Symposium speakers and Committee volunteers are lodging at the Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue, one block away from the symposium venue, at 15 West 45th Street. This hotel offers special per-night rates to a limited number of individual symposium attendees on the event dates: $189 plus taxes for a King Bed Room; $239 plus taxes for a Double Bed Room. These can be reserved via the hotel's sales manager, TaKeia Hill, by calling 212-302-9088 or emailing TaKeia Hill. Please keep in mind that this is a basic business/tourist hotel; other hotels, at double or triple the daily cost during NYC's busy time of year, also are nearby including The Sofitel directly across the street from the General Society's building.
