DIGITAL DATABASES OF HOROLOGY'S GREAT COLLECTORS The symposium printed program includes more than sixty pages of names, dates, brief bios, published references, and face images (when available) of the great past collectors we are honoring. (Living collectors are not included.). Bob Frishman, the symposium creator and organizer, has researched, compiled, and written this comprehensive listing. It is certain, however, that the roster is incomplete and will require regular updating, additions, and corrections. Three alphabetical PDF's of the digital database may be viewed, and these can easily be enlarged and amended with input from horology colleagues worldwide. Collectors A-M Collectors N-S Collectors T-Z Please email Bob with your comments, suggestions and proposed additions to help to make this an enduring resource. All these collectors, whether long-dead or recently passed, deserve this lasting tribute which will continue to be a valuable resource for today's and future collectors, experts, and scholars. THANK YOU!

RUDOLF KAFTAN 1870-1961

2022 HARRISON LECTURE WORSHIPFUL COMPANY OF CLOCKMAKERS
Tabea Rude, Curator and Conservator of the Vienna Clock Museum, lectured about great-collector Rudolf Kaftan whose collection and decades of dedicated work created this world-class horological museum. We see her here with Company Master Dr. James Nye.
An image of Kaftan presented during the lecture shows him narrating one of his many weekly radio broadcasts about the museum and its thousands of clocks and watches that covered the entire history of mechanical horology. Tabea Rude's entire lecture may be viewed on YouTube.
