SPECIAL FIELD TRIP AND GUIDED TOURS

MORRIS MUSEUM, MORRISTOWN, NEW JERSEY

A bonus program for symposium attendees will be an all-day visit to the Morris Museum in Morristown, New Jersey. The museum is famous for its world-class Guinness Collection of Mechanical Musical Instruments and Automata. Special presentations and tours will be offered by conservator Jere Ryder, internationally eminent for his technical and historical expertise with these rare antique mechanical objects. The all-inclusive tour cost provides roundtrip luxury-coach transportation from mid-town Manhattan, special tours, and bag lunch served on-site. Please enjoy the museum's website for a preview of your visit, and include this program when you register for the symposium online or by using the printed form. The bus will load at 10 a.m. outside of the Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue at 15 West 45th Street, travel one hour to the museum, enjoy bag lunches at 12:30, and return participants to the same location by 5 p.m.
